Chronic Calf Muscle Strain?

Last year I was told that I have chronic calf strain in my left leg. This was after a year of testing which included two MRIS, an EMG for nerve damage, an ultrasound to rule out blood clots, blood work to rule out blood clots (apparently I was worried I had one). Summary : Sex has been and will remain an integral part of our life since the day Adam had the apple. Man has been striving since long to achieve a better performance in order to satiate both his as well his partner’s urge to sex. Albeit, there have been a lot of factors that have been instrumental in being a barrier to the Sex like age, hormonal imbalances, society, money and many other things, but none of those have been powerful enough to sustain the Sex flow. Medicinal herbs, therapeutic fruits, meditation, yoga have helped him in one way or the other but there has always been a search for that extra PUNCH to help men in his erectile dysfunction in nearly all cases with having minimum of the side effects. This search for the PUNCH has led to the discovery of Viagra.

Viagra hit the market in 1998 and was an instant success in that regard.

Description:

What exactly is erectile dysfunction?

Erectile dysfunction is the inability of the person to sustain a penile erection for a sufficient period of time that is needed to attain a sexual gratification/satiety. There are a good number of reasons that causes it like psychological factors, hormonal factors, arterial or muscular factors. The diseases associated with it are Diabetes Mellitus, Major Depression, etc.

What is Cialis?

Cialis works like Viagra, acting by inhibiting an enzyme called phosphodiesterase which releases Nitric Oxide from nerve endings and endothelium causing relaxation of smooth muscle and hence penile erection. This is a product developed by Eli Lilly and ICOS and it was launched under the trade name of the product called Tadalafil launched in the market in 2003.

How is cialis better than Viagra?

Cialis has a life of around 36 hours in comparison to that of Viagra, which is around 4 hours that means that a person can take the drug and can expect to have erection at a time much later than the time of administration. This achieves much patient conformity.

Who all can benefit?

Men with ED due to some arterial disorders will benefit the most. There is a wide spread myth that a person as soon as taking the drug will have erection but that is not the case. It starts taking action only when a person starts physical activity. Men with prostate cancer who have their prostate removed are usually free of cancer, but the procedure often comes with a cost — impotence. A new study, however, shows that Viagra (sildenafil), the popular medication for erectile dysfunction, can restore impotency lost in surgery. Whether men respond, however, depends on how much nerve damage occurred during surgery.

What are the side effects?

Due to the extreme non-specificity of the product there are certain side effects related to vasodilatation at other sites such as headache, nasal congestion, stuffiness, and fall in blood pressure. Some patients complain of loose motions. These side effects are more applicable to products such as Viagra than to Cialis. Some patients have suffered heart attack and severe fall in blood pressure.

Final Points to ponder:

•Viagra is an effective treatment for impotency in men who have their prostate removed.

•For men whose nerves have been spared, the drug improves the ability to have an erection by nearly 60%, but the effectiveness drops to 20% in those with no nerves spared.

•There are other options for men who don’t respond to cialis, including injections and vacuum devices.

Which one – Yoga vs. Pilates?

Which would you recommend and why? Does one help you lose weight more than the other?

I am looking to lose 25 lbs. I would like to join a Gym, but cant afford it at the moment. I thought a few DVD's that I could follow along would really help, but I need to know which ones are best.

Angelina Jolie’s star status has rocketed to new proportions after taking on blockbuster action-film roles in movies like “Tomb Raider” and the 2008 action-flick ‘Wanted”. Sporting a model’s svelte physique in the 90s, Angelina Jolie is now known for her lean, sculpted figure. Jolie’s secret to gaining lean muscle mass is her healthy protein-rich diet and high speed, high endurance physical training.

If you want Jolie’s tone body figure, kickboxing is key. Kickboxing is a super intense activity that can burn anywhere from 600 to 800 calories per hour. The reason that kickboxing is such a great fat-burning exercise is that the high speed and high repetitions involved give your body the jolt it needs to burn off stubborn fat. While burning this fat you are also simultaneously toning up the muscles in the body and gaining muscle strength. Kickboxing takes a lot of breathing and muscle endurance. Starting a kickboxing routine is very daunting, as one will discover after the initial grueling “warm-up”. Making it through your first full-hour of kickboxing is an affair of mind over matter. Many trainers claim that 80% of beginners can’t make it through the entire class the first time they come. Keep this in mind as you start out and don’t give up if the pace of the class is too much to handle at first. Kickboxing training, like boxing training, is an intense activity that is intimidating to beginners. You will have to exert a lot of will power to keep up, but the results are well worth the effort.

In addition to kickboxing, Angelina Jolie’s personal trainers also recommend activities like scuba diving, canoeing, street fighting, and yoga. The commonality of these exercise activities is that they all pair muscle strengthening with fat burning.

Don’t forget- nutrition is key to building muscle while engaged in these intense workout routines. If you work out your muscles without providing your body with the proper amount of protein your muscles will not develop properly. Eating low-fat protein frequently is the best way to make sure you are building lean muscle mass. Angelina Jolie eats small meals consisting of low-fat, high protein foods, (such as broiled sea bass and veggies) at least 6 times a day.
